    Big Sky Real Estate Guide

Big Sky, Montana is a community that lies approximately 50 miles southwest of Bozeman along U.S. Highway 191, and just 15 miles from the northwestern border of Yellowstone National Park. Construction in the area began in 1971, while a series of ski lifts and a post office opened just two years later. Today, Big Sky is both a thriving community and home to America’s 3rd largest ski resort, nestled at the base of Lone Peak and appropriately named Big Sky Ski Resort.
